The moral
A house should be quiet, sealed, and yours again.
Most homeowners spray the wrong thing and leave the hole open. Framework inspects, treats what is actually there, and helps you seal the gaps so the problem does not move back in with the frost.
| When | The hole | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| March–May | Ants and the first foundation gaps after melt. | Spring perimeter plus an exclusion list. Book before the first trail hits the counter. |
| June–August | Wasps at doors, decks, play areas. | Nest removal and a recheck. Same-day only when it is truly at the door. |
| August–September | Mice moving in before hard cold. | Mouse-proofing: inspect, treat or monitor, close gaps. Book before frost. |
| October–February | Indoor rodents, pantry, bed bugs after travel. | Quiet-house winter visit. Retail traps only when they are the honest tool. |
Do not
- Do not treat a wasp nest at the door with a grocery-store can.
- Do not mix products off-label. That is illegal and it does not close the hole.
- Do not wait until January to mouse-proof a house that had activity last winter.
- Do not buy termite panic in Calgary. They are not an established local pest.
Live season: mouse-proofing. Call 825 747 5787, text a photo, or book an inspection.
