A single pest standard for a portfolio of buildings

Owners do not need five vendors and five stories. They need one specification and a record the board can read.

Property managers inherit pest control the way they inherit janitorial contracts: a vendor per site, a spray ticket per visit, and no way to compare risk across the portfolio. One building is ‘fine.’ Another is a chronic complaint. The difference is rarely the technician. It is the envelope, the waste room, and the absence of a shared spec.

Framework’s stewardship programs start by writing that spec. What does a closed dock look like. What mesh is acceptable. What inspection cadence is mandatory in healthcare versus office. What evidence is filed after a visit. The standard is the product; the visits are how it is kept.

For boards and brand-audit teams, this produces something the industry almost never offers: a file. Photographs of closed pathways. Trend lines by asset. A language that an envelope consultant and a hygiene auditor can both inhabit.

That is what ‘data-driven property protection’ means in practice. Not a dashboard for its own sake — a building that is being looked after as an assembly, across every address the owner is responsible for.
