The cheapest exclusion is the one drawn correctly. We sit with architects, developers, and envelope consultants to review detailing that will otherwise become habitat: loading docks, rain screens, waste rooms, and green roofs.
The cheapest exclusion is the one that is drawn. A decorative screen without mesh, a dock pit without a spec, a waste room that shares a chase with suites — those are design choices. We would rather catch them in CAD than in a complaint file.
